International Bluegrass Camp

Come join
us in beautiful Ridgetop, TN for a long weekend retreat filled with
formal classes, incredible jamming, and tons of surprises. Improve on
your bluegrass instrument of choice (or more than one – learn
‘em all!) with some of the best in the business. Become a better
singer, work on the craft of songwriting, and meet people from around
the world. On-site lodging is first come first served but there are
many local hotel options as well.
Tentative General Camp Schedule
Wednesday - arrive in the afternoon/evening
Thursday Morning - individual instrument classes
Thursday Afternoon/Evening - electives like ear training, slow jamming,
improvising without passing out from fear etc...
Thursday Night - Jamming
Friday - instrument classes
Friday Afternoon/Evening - electives
Friday Night - Instructor Concert
Saturday - singing, songwriting, ear training classes
Saturday Night - Band Scramble
Sunday - Big Jam including lots of Nashville guests, lots of food and
music!!! All campers and friends and families welcome!
Instructors
include 6-time National Fiddle Champion and Grand Old Opry performer
Megan B. Lynch, IBMA award-winning Lonesome River Band bassist Mike
Anglin, Murphy Method star banjo instructor Casey Henry, Stephen Mougin
(guitarist and singer with the Sam Bush Band), Andy Ball (mandolin player
and high lead singer with the Lonesome River Band), Brandon Rickman
(successful songwriter, lead singer, and guitar player for the Lonesome
River Band), Jon Weisberger (award-winning journalist and songwriter),
and Kip Martin (former Sunny Mountain Boy and respected bass and harmony
vocal instructor). Several Nashville-based special guests will be making
appearances throughout the week as well!
Camp Tuition - $500 (US) Includes all meals and lodging. Please contact
Camp for fee information without lodging and food. There are several
options available. Any student wishing to stay through the following
week (IBMA week!) is welcome to do so at no extra cost, first come,
first served. Food, however, will not be included for that week. All
travel expenses are the responsibility of the student (except transportation
to and from the airport – we’ll come get you!) but Bluegrass
Camp can help you find the best travel deals – just let us know

Adult Fiddle Camp

Come
join us in beautiful Ridge Top, TN for a long weekend retreat of great
fiddling and lots of fun. Every day we will work on fiddle tunes, take
jam classes, go to downtown Nashville to hear incredible music, learn
to dance to fiddle music, and lots more. Incredible instructors wil
help you improve your technique, your improvisational skills, and anything
you can think of to become a better fiddler. There are several hotels
and inns within a couple of miles and dormitory-style lodging is available
(first come, first serve) on-site.
Instructors include 6 time National Champion Megan B. Lynch and more
to be announced. Stephen Mougin of the Sam Bush Band will be teaching
a special singing workshop. We will also be joined by several Nashvile-based
special guests!
Camp Tuition - $450 includes on-site lodging and meals. $350 includes
lunch and snack and no on-site lodging. (after April 15 add $25 to each
fee) All student fees include camp t-shirt. All travel expenses are

Youth Fiddle Camp

*Record a CD at Dark Shadows Recording Studio!
Come join us in beautiful Ridge Top, TN for a
week of great fiddling and lots of fun. Every day we will work on fiddle
tunes, learn how to rehair bows and do basic fiddle repair, take hikes,
learn to dance to fiddle music, and lots more. We’ll even get
a chance to record in a real recording studio and the students will
get a CD of their hard work! Of course there will be a final concert
on Friday evening and the kids will get a chance to show off all they
learned.
Instructors include 6 time National Champion and Grand Old Opry performer

Nashville-based special guests!
Sleepover students are welcome. There will be adult chaperones on site
at all times. All meals will be provided for sleepover students. Day
camp students will need to have a parent or guardian drop them off and
pick them up each day. Lunch and a healthy snack will be provided for
those students.
Day Camp - $400, Sleepover Camp - $550 , Parent Sleepover - $200 (after
May 31 add $25 to each fee) All student fees include camp t-shirt and
CD. All travel expenses are the responsibility of the student/parent
(except transportation to and from the airport – we’ll come
